Environmental, Social and Governance

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities are a core part of North London Estate Partnerships role.  The 2023 - 24 Sustainability and ESG objectives are as follows:

  • Strive to identify more opportunities to utilise the portfolio’s buildings for the benefit of the local community.

  • Work in partnership with CHP and the FMSPs to identify and progress opportunities/initiatives for reducing energy/water consumption and to decarbonise the estate, through regular monthly estates meetings.

  • Increase the biodiversity of the NLEP estate, particularly through ‘Putting buildings at the heart of the community’ and Community Gardens initiatives.

  • Act as a conduit between local community organisations and CHP/ICB to advise on opportunities to make best use of the buildings across the portfolio.

  • Following completion of the Access Able programme, support CHP in the delivery of any specific recommendations.

  • Progress and monitor the Age Exchange Reminiscence Art in Dementia project.

  • Promote and encourage sustainability and ESG activities with supply chain partners.
